The Bill (Reg. №5140) envisages the adoption of the State Program on Economic and Social Development of Ukraine for the year 2010.
During the sitting the Members of the Committee declared that the draft of the State Program is elaborated according to the tasks and principles of the Program on Cabinet of Ministers Activity "Overcoming of the Consequences of the Finance-Economic Crisis and Forward Development", Declaration of Aims and Tasks of the Budget for the year 2010 (Budget Declarations), Prognosis of Economic and Social Development of Ukraine for the year2010 etc.
The People´s Deputies stressed that according to the Bill, the principal aim of the State Program is "renovation of the economic increase with the economic fundament of the further stable development that would be premise for the solution of the critical social problems and whole increase of the population welfare."
During the discussion, the parliamentarians expressed number of remarks regarding the Program. In particular, comparison of certain economic indexes of the program for 2010 with those of January-July 2009 give grounds to declared that the program is based on the optimistic variant of the prognoses implementation of which would depend on great number of internal and external factors.
